The countdown is five days till Mark and I are home! So what have we been up to…we’ve been working on getting ourselves in better shape. We have ran three three times in the last week, which is super impressive. Mark bought me a real running hat and a warm ear headband last night…hoping that if I look stylish we may keep it up.
We went to the wax museum yesterday; we had free tickets since we are members at the Newseum. Kind of creepy, but lots of fun. 
Mark has brewed and bottled his latest batch of Bedford Brown. Note the new holiday festive labels.
Thanksgiving was good; we made dinner and used grandma’s China. We used the weekend to make our Christmas card and photo collage. We’ve had a pretty good year!
I also worked on retreat stuff over break.I led a 3-day Encounter retreat with my girls. It was awesome, but it has taken me a week and half to get completely caught up on the school front.
Mark is surprisingly enjoying his new job. I met his boss at the Christmas party last weekend. He’s really, really nice. I am a big fan, so I can see that if Mark had to be an exec at some point, at least he lucked out and got a good boss! 
Still no news on the baby front. No luck yet. If we go for six more months of no luck, then I’ll be heading to the doctor to find out what we can do. Say a prayer that it happens soon…it’s starting to feel like everyone is pregnant or just had a kid but us! I know it will happen when it is supposed to. I’m just not a very patient person.
