In no particular order:
- That my sister Mary and her daughters, Amy and Erin, came by to watch the Sound of Music Oprah with me and then we went out to lunch and ice cream. Great morning!
- That even though I am sad that got rid of the piano of my dad’s (that was owned by Joe Garagiola’s originally), I know that it’s getting more use now in my brother’s house. Getting an e-mail from him that he can’t stop playing it made parting with it so much better!
- Thankful that Mark and I are defying the odds. I’m so thankful that Fr. Kevin encouraged me to move out there before the “Catholic” wedding. I know that deployments can do awful things to marriages, and I’m just glad that Mark and I are doing so well. Our “bad” days aren’t remotely bad compared to others’ “bad” days. I’m so thankful for being able to have that perspective.
- I’m thankful for the invite from the Wessels to go play pick-up football…even though I didn’t go, the invite made me very happy!
- I’m thankful that after tonight, I only have five Saturday nights by myself. Then I get THREE in a row with Mark. =)
